Sterling Silver Charms ~ usage, care, etc.
Sterling silver charms for making beautiful charm bracelets and other jewelry pieces. You can find lots of sterling silver charms that are just so beautiful for making that charm bracelet. Each charm design is so lovable, unique and precious. Everywhere I go, I like to look out for 925 silver charms. Guess I have been charmed by these shinning trinkets. And now, with products like Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and Art Clay Silver, we are able to make our very own uniquely one-of-a-kind charms. With these materials, we are able to make pure silver charms - meaning that each silver piece has 99.9 percent of silver content. Cleaning Your Sterling Silver Charms When exposed to the atmosphere, charms, like all other silver jewelry, will easily get tarnished. For my collection, this is inevitable since I have the tendency to take them out from the jewelry storage boxes to look, admire and consider how to utilise them in my jewelry making. Well, when my collection of sterling silver charms get tarnished, I just throw them into my mini jewelry tumbler, add a spoonful of burnishing powder and let them tumble for 20 to 30 minutes. They'll come out of the tumbler sparkling clean and shiny. Another way to clean your silver is by using silver jewelry polisher. You can buy this from any jewelry store. A Few Charm Design In My Collection Below are some of the charms in my collection.

Here's a shining silver heart charm that I just love. So easy to just hang on a chain and wear it as a pendant.

A silver drop. Another great charm to use as a pendant.

A beautiful flower charm embedded with mother-of-pearl.

A fish design

Such a cute dog charm!

Enamel charm - a pair of pink sandals.

A heart design with mother-of-pearl embedded.

A silver heart.
Note: By the way, when you shop for charms, do buy more than one of the same design. When you only have one charm of each design, you won't want to use them fearing that you won't be able to find that design again. This is especially so if its a charm you really love.
